As I reflect on 27 years of experience in what I call the “People Business” and prepare myself for new challenges, I realize that relationships are most important. Both in business and in life, relationships matter. Products and services seem to change overnight, and the political climate has and will continue to create uncertainty. The type of relationships I have with clients, vendors, and my team allow me to make the right recommendations every time and without bias. Over the years, I have built that trust with clients, so together we can make the best choices for their businesses.

If I am not at the office or with a valued client or prospective client, there is a good chance you can find me at the golf course. If I have a vice, then that would be it.

I also love spending time with my wife Dawn and our children Valentina, Adrianna, and Giancarlo.

Before I founded AdvantEdge, I was an executive officer at Kelly Services (NASDAQ: KELYA) one of the world’s largest Fortune 500 International Staffing and Outsourcing companies. As the Executive General Manager of Kellys Staff Leasing, a subsidiary of Kelly services providing Payroll, Benefits, HR, and PEO services to small and medium businesses. In my leadership role I was responsible for all financial and operational aspects of the $3oo million company that resulted in consistent, sustainable, and epic profitability records for Kelly Staff Leasing, its clients and Kelly Services shareholders.

When the Kelly Services Board of Directors decided to sell Kelly Staff Leasing, I assisted with the implementation and decided that I wanted to launch my own single source company. We knew we had to offer more than the standard solution in the box so prevalent in the marketplace. We had a desire to provide a different industry experience with clients working directly with seasoned professionals in the development of innovative, flexible, and tailored Payroll, Benefits and HR solutions. AdvantEdge is determined to focus on each company’s unique cultural personality we listen to the client, establish needs, and develop cost effective tailored solutions.

We believe there is a distinct need to move from vendor to strategic partner relationships for small and medium-sized businesses to achieve client goals.

I first focused our efforts and energy in New Jersey, my hometown and where we raised our family, and then expanded our services and expertise to the Charleston metro area in 2022. My daughter, Jordan, graduated from the College of Charleston and Charleston has always held a special place in my heart. After she graduated, we started to see the economic growth and expansion in the area and decided it would be a great place to open a second market. When I’m not at the office or meeting with clients, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife, children, and new grandson. I love cooking for family and friends, playing golf, listening to music, and the beach.

As a dedicated benefits professional, I believe that a well-structured benefits package is not just a company perk but a crucial component of overall employee well-being and satisfaction. Many of our clients are HR professionals, and my background in human resources has enabled me to understand their needs on a more intricate level. My goal is to assist our clients and their employees by providing them with the knowledge and support they need to make informed decisions about their benefits elections.

Whether it’s guiding an employee through the intricacies of health insurance options or assisting a client in designing a robust benefits strategy, I am committed to delivering personalized and compassionate service.

I am very family oriented and when I am not servicing our clients, I spend much of my time with my husband, Zac, our parents, siblings and many nieces and nephews. I can’t forget to mention my Airedale Terrier, Draco, who keeps us on our toe’s day in and day out!

As a known people-pleaser I am passionate about my role as client service manager, I have been with AdvantEdge since its inception and have found there is a need to deliver excellent customer service. It involves actively listening, providing prompt and effective solutions and following up to ensure satisfaction, always making the customer feel valued. I proudly feel our whole team makes customer service a priority giving us an edge in the marketplace. During my free time I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling to Charleston, going on long walks, and playing tennis and pickle ball.

As the General Manager of our firm, I feel lucky to be involved in the many facets of our business both internally and externally. I believe in team leadership and working as a unit. I believe our clients can attest to the value we put on “one team” through the level of service we deliver. If a client needs us, they know exactly how to get a hold of us and that is something that I am very proud of. I love learning about different industries and small businesses. Every problem has a solution and I really love being able to deliver that mindset to our clients. I graduated from the College of Charleston (go Cougs) in 2019. I met my husband there, and after a stint in New York, we decided that Charleston was home. I love being a part of the Charleston community. Outside of work, I practice Pilates as an instructor at a local studio in Mt. Pleasant. Our English Springer, Pepper, keeps us active as well and we love taking her for walks throughout the city.
